What up! I know it’s been a while since my last post and I know none of you guys missed me because you never cared to begin with, but oh well. In this post, I will talk about the top 3 most paid soccer players in the world I may also include some fun facts about them so it isn’t boring.

Starting off with number 1

1.) Lionel Messi

 

Lionel Messi takes the number one spot on this list. Lionel Messi is an Argentinian soccer player the FC Barcelona forward is the highest-paid soccer player, earning $111 million and taking home $84 million in salary and winnings, and another $27 million in endorsements. That’s crazy money I wish I could make as much as him, but I am nowhere near being good as him.

2.) Cristiano Ronaldo

The second person on this list is Cristiano Ronaldo I’m going, to be honest with you Cristiano Ronaldo isn’t my favorite, but I’m still going to talk about him for all of those people who actually like him (disgusting). Anyways Cristiano Ronaldo takes home $61 million in salary and winnings from Real Madrid and $47 million in the endorsement, for a whopping total of $108 million. That’s a crazy amount of money, but not as much as Lionel Messi because he’s just better.

The last person on this list is Neymar! Neymar can get pretty crazy on-field even when it comes to flopping because he flops a lot. Either way that’s not the point Neymar the point is that Neymar makes and he made $350 million within his contract. Neymar plays for Paris Saint- Germain, but the crazy part about this is that when Neymar transferred to Barcelona it cost $263 million. That’s actually insane! never thought it would cost that much did you, but now you know.

1. Neymar scored his 100th professional goal on his 20th birthday.
2. Neymar nearly joined Real Madrid when he was 14. I wish I could that, but I can’t cause I suck.
3. Neymar is Barcelona’s ninth most and PSG’s most expensive purchase. Barcelona paid nearly $100 million for his transfer from Santos in 2013.
